‘Vaccination, SoPs vital to curb pandemic’

BUDGAM, AUGUST 12: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today once again appealed to the general public not to lower guard and adhere to all Covid-19 SOPs and instructions to stop spread of Covid-19 virus.

He said the situation with regard to Covid-19 has improved a lot but still the threat of the 3rd wave is looming large.

Giving details, the DC said that there are 73 active Covid positive patients in the district and the positivity rate is at 0.2 percent. He said the recovery rate is improving day by day, and is at 99.8 percent.

He said, if the general public envisages cooperation, take all precautions, the district will be Covid free very soon.
