It has been rightly said, “There is always a story behind every success.” So, here we bring you the story of a small town girl – Shaveta Nabil. This story is about her journey of becoming social media celebrity singer in India over a short period of time.
Shaveta Nabil was born in a small family in Samba district of J&K. She developed interest in Music during her early childhood days. She started to get trained in Indian Classical Singing at the age of 7 only. She completed her school education from Army Public School Samba.
She took her first step towards success by participating and winning the trophy and title of “JK-IDOL” soon after completing her school education. That was the moment when she decided to become a professional singer, so she pursued Graduation in Music from Jammu University and switched to light music while grabbing many trophies under various Talent Hunt competitions. Moreover, she was the only alumna to perform many times for various events held by Army School Samba. Because of the achievements, she was invited to perform live various times for Indian Army also. Her dreams were big but opportunities were less in Jammu. Additionally, there were lot of restrictions for her as she had to travel almost 100kms(return) from Samba to Jammu every time to visit her guru to practice singing. Hence, she stopped singing and started working to earn money. But, she never quit singing.
Now, it was the time to start her own family. She moved to Bangalore and got married in 2018. Her husband promised her that he will give her full support in re-incarnation of music. So, she stepped out on the platform of social media. She worked very hard with dedication and became very famous in a short span of time. She won hearts of more than 18000+ followers (data per date) with millions of views on her Official Facebook page within a year only. Because of her social media popularity, she got verified by Amazon as – Verified Celebrity Influencer. She also received Women Achievers' Award at the stage of Miss and Mrs. India 2019 – India Fashion Icon in December 2019 for being such a great singer and an inspiration to all. She has
been recently invited as a Celebrity Judge for Jammu's Got Talent Season 9 (2020).
It doesn't matter how hard it was for her to learn m
usic as a teenager. It doesn't matter how difficult it was for her to leave music to earn money. It doesn't matter if she didn't get the enough opportunities to make her career in music. Shaveta Nabil never gave up. She never quit. She became an inspiration for the youth; and she is still devotedly working hard to achieve her dreams.
