Schools in Kashmir to reopen from Thursday; Colleges from Oct 9

& government has decided to reopen all schools up to Higher Secondary level from Thursday and Colleges by October 9 in Kashmir.

Divisional Commissioner Baseer Ahmad Khan directed all Deputy Commissioners and Director, School to ensure that no tuition and bus fee is charged from students of government or private schools when these institutions were closed in August and September.

He said, if any educational institution is found violating the government orders, heavy penalty will be imposed.

Mr Khan said, registration of educational institution will also be cancelled if they fail to implement the directions in and spirit.
