Plantation drive started at SMGS Hospital

Tawi: To mark the celebration of 75 years of 's Independence under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav' a plantation drive was today started here at SMGS Hospital.

The plantation drive was started by Dr.Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal & Dean, GMC, Jammu in presence of Administrator GMC and AH, Ashwani Khajuria.

During the drive, about 30 plants of different varieties were planted.

Meanwhile, to mark the Mahotsav and  ‘Swachhta Pakhwada' a series of activities are being undertaken in all the Associated Hospitals of GMC, Jammu. The programme was attended by Med.Supdt SMGS Dr. Dara Singh and other Officers. After the programme, the Principal took a detailed review of all the ongoing works in the pediatrics and Gynae. Deptts. Engineers, planning officers accompanied the Principal who directed the executing agencies to   stick to timelines for completion of the works especially in view of the expected 3rd wave of COVID-19 Pandemic.
