RAMBAN, AUGUST 12: NSS Unit of Government Degree College, Ramban, today organized a cleanliness drive on the College Campus under the banner of Swachhata Pakhwada.
The program was organized under the patronage of Principal Dr. Mohsin Bashir Dar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal said that such drives are a wonderful experience for students, which motivate them to contribute their bit towards society and raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness.
“It is our responsibility to clean our area, city, country as we keep our home clean. It is not the responsibility of only one person, rather it is the duty of every citizen,” he added.
The drive was held by duly following Covid-19 SOPs.
Meanwhile, District Information Centre, Ramban also initiated IEC activities on Swachhta and initiated wide publicity through electronic and print media about the cleanliness drives and other events.
Later, NSS Volunteers of GDC Ramban also participated in Poster making Competition under Swachhata Pakhwada.
