Jammu Tawi, May 20: Director, School Education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, today inaugurated the newly constructed school building for Government Primary School Belicharana constructed by PIU Jammu under JTFRP through World Bank Funding.
The Technical Review Mission Team from World Bank officially handed over the newly constructed school building to the Director School Education Jammu.
Chief Education Officer Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore and ZEO Satwari Rashmi Rathore alongwith JKTF Chairman Ganesh Khajuria were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, while addressing the gathering, laid special emphasis on the Child- Centred curriculum to be followed in letter and spirit by the teaching community and highlighted the importance of Vocationalisation and Contextualisation of Education. He further assured everyone of full support and cooperation of the Directorate while helping the students to receive the best possible education along with suitable environment and adequate opportunities to push themselves towards success in life.
Interacting with the teachers, he laid stress on increasing the enrollment in Govt.Schools and encouraged the teachers to provide quality education to the students.
