Jammu, May 22
Five teachers and co-ordinators from Jammu Sanskriti School were selected for the teachers' excellence award, organised by Centre for Educational Development, held at Agra. They were in Agra to participate in a conclave “On how to enhance leadership skills in Educators”, inaugurated by Prof. Saroj Yadav Dean Academics NCERT. 133 educators from 17 states were awarded in the conclave. Prabhjot Kaur (middle wing co-ordinator) was felicitated as ‘A Visionary leader', Nidhi Kohli (pre-primary wing co-ordinator) with ‘Creative teacher award', Ekta Choudhary with ‘Effective teacher award', Rashi Gupta and Munmun Kohli with ‘Progressive National Teacher award'. The Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school, Rohini Aima was awarded with Dr APJ Abdul Award, at International Educators Conclave in Jalandhar. Conjointly two of the teachers namely Ruhi Bral and Kawalpreet Kour were also honoured with Promising Teacher Award there.
