The killing of Pulwama Terror attack mastermind Rashid Ghazi and other two terrorists at their shelter house few kilometres away from the terror attack site, has given a bit sigh of relief down the line in prevalent high sentiments of Indians. Alas! The forces gave a very high price when an Army Major along with four soldiers gave their supreme sacrifice in order to eliminate these terrorists who bled India so deeply. More such operations are underway to kill these merchants of death and destructions in Kashmir.
The Pulwama terror attack, one of the worst strikes by terrorists in recent history, has brought together the people of India. Setting aside differences, they are paying tributes to the slain soldiers and demanding a fitting answer to Pakistani ultras. Memorial meets are being conducted across the country and social media is full of condolence and condemnation messages. Such a unity was seen last during the Kargil War. While several youth tonsured their head in Maharashtra's Buldhana, members of the transgender community held a candlelight vigil in Chennai.
A BJP office-bearer went a step ahead and wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi inked with his blood. In the letter, he urged the government to give a befitting reply to terrorists and their organisations based in Pakistan. These are just samples of the feelings of people from various sections of society. Even Opposition leaders, who were criticising the BJP-led government so far, have offered complete support to it in its action against terrorists. However, there are some abrasive ifs and buts as usual in Opposition camps.
The Prime Minister had already said the sacrifice made by the CRPF jawans will not go waste and those behind the attack would have to pay a heavy price. He had also said the armed forces had been given a free hand.
Understanding the sentiments of the people, making use of the support India had received from across the world, including the US, and the urgent need to put an end to the atrocities of evil forces, it's time for India to launch a vigorous strike against terrorists and those supporting them. It's now or never.
It is now or never!
