A day before Srinagar and Udhampur constituencies go to polls, two Army personnel, a CRPF jawan and a personal security officer (PSO) of a senior Conference (NC) leader were injured in four separate attacks in Valley on Wednesday.
Two Army men sustained bullet injuries after terrorists attacked a private car carrying military intelligence personnel in Khudwani area of Kashmir's Kulgam district, said sources.
In Pulwama district, CRPF head constable TL Parshad received splinter injuries when terrorists lobbed a grenade at the paramilitary force's 180 Bn camp in Tral's Nowdal area in the evening. Parshad was immediately taken to a hospital while the area was cordoned off to trace the attackers, said police.
In Srinagar's downtown area, Mohammad Rafiq, the PSO of senior NC activist Ghulam Rasool Sofi, was injured after being assaulted by a group of miscreants in the afternoon. Official sources said Rafiq, a selection grade constable, was thrashed while Sofi was inspecting a polling booth in Anchar area. Sofi, however, escaped unscathed while Rafiq was rushed to a hospital. Police are probing the attack.
In Budgam district, suspected terrorists hurled a petrol bomb at the Doniwari residence of NC leader and former MLA Ali Mohammad Dar. The bomb exploded inside the premises but no injury or damage was suffered. The bike-borne criminals managed to flee, said police. Cops are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, miscreants hurled a petrol bomb and pelted stones at a polling booth inside a government higher secondary school in Srinagar's Gurgari Mohalla.

Four CRPF personnel, including an officer, were injured when their vehicle skidded off a bridge and fell into a nallah in Chadoora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Wednesday. The injured have been shifted to a hospital, said police. Official sources said the group was part of a poll duty squad.
In Gogo area of Budgam's Humhama region, miscreants vandalised an election duty vehicle by pelting stones at it.
