Excise Deptt organizes Nukkad Natak

Continuing its efforts to create mass awareness on Drugs de-addiction & Liquor abuse among youth and ill effects of illicit liquor in society, Excise Department today organised a Nukkad Natak at Tanda, Hiranagar in Excise Range Kathua, performed by the artist of Samuh Theatre, .
As a part of comprehensive action plan against Drug abuse and illicit liquor conceived by Excise Commissioner, Govt of J&K, Sh. Talat Pervez Rohella, this programme was aimed at educating the youth regarding various social and ill effects of drug abuse and illicit liquor.
People were also made aware regarding various schemes of Government and new initiatives of Excise Department for rehabilitation and welfare of affected persons. The Excise Range Kathua organised the play under the supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner Executive Jammu S. Amarjeet Singh in collaboration with J&K Academy of and Languages and other stakeholders.
ETO Savita Chouhan, Inspectors Excise Mr. Arun Kumar, Mr. Razi Ahmad & Sub Inspectors Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Nitin Sharma, Excise staff Kathua along with licensees of Excise Range Kathua were also present in the occasion.
