A three-day long awareness campaign on RTI Act, SVEEP, and Drug abuse concluded here today with an awareness programme on Drug abuse organized at Jamia Zia ul Uloom High School, Poonch.
The campaign was organised by the Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, J&K region in coordination with district administration.
Experts from Drug de-addiction team, TahfeezKhanam, Deputy SP Operation Dr Bhisham Dubey, Dr Rahul Sharma, District Hospital, Principal Waheed Ahmed Bandey and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
During the event, experts delivered lecturers on drugs abuse and its impact on the society.
Later, a quiz competition was also held on drug abuse in which students from different schools participated. The winners were awarded with prizes.
Besides, mementoes and certificates were also distributed among the participants.
