Say Cheese! Photo-Op is Okay, but what about the substance?

Tawi, May 18: Like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Covid Relief Abhyan too has been reduced to mere photo-ops for politicians from Leader to Cadre. Craving for publicity before the action could materialise, a report in His Master's Voice (HMV) Newspaper on May 18 read that ‘Dr Jitendra dispatches separate COVID consignments for Jammu, Srinagar.' The report published with a photo taken on the clean road of New Delhi with Dr. Jitendra Singh and two of his associates posing in front of two vehicles with some boxes presumably of Covid medicines etc. Perhaps Doctor's The event Manager had erred in his continuity sense when he seemingly failed to notice there were no registration number plates on the Vehicles all set to rush with the stuff for Jammu and Srinagar. The Carrier Company's name is also missing on the vehicles. Besides, in the prevailing photoshop era, who can vouch whether the actual delivery of the said ‘Covid relief' loaded on the vehicles without registration numbers would arrive in J&K or go to Mars?
