Militants escape after brief firefight with security forces at SKIMS Bemina

Officials claimed militants and security officers exchanged fire briefly at SKIMS Bemina in Srinagar on Friday.

In a tweet, a police spokesman said: “There was a brief firefight between terrorists and security forces at SKIMS hospital Bemina. Terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of civilian presence.”

A police official said that a search operation was underway in the area.
