LG’s Rolling Trophy concludes at Sports Stadium Poonch

Poonch, Oct 1: Inter Zonal District Level LG's Rolling Trophy, organized by Department of Youth Services and District
Poonch in the discipline of for 19 to 35 years age group concluded today here in the sports stadium. District
Development Commissioner InderJeet was the Chief Guest at the valedictory event.
The Final match was played between team Harni and Team Mendher and the former won the match. Nassir was top scorer with
61 runs in 49 balls from Harni Zone team, while top scorer from Mendhar Zone was Jameel Bhat with 30 runs in 24 balls. The
Match for 3rd place was played between Surankote and Buffliaz teams.
Surankote won the match by 44 runs and the highest 47 runs in 26 balls were scored by Ibrar Kholi, while Imran Fazli took 3
wickets.
Cricket teams from across all eleven zones of Poonch participated in the tournament conducted under the patronage of
district development commissioner and Director Youth Services & Sports UT J&K, Subash Chander Chibber & Joint Director
Youth Services & Sports , Atul Kumar JKAS.
Tournament was conducted league Cum knock out basic under the technical supervision of Rajinder Singh Toofan
Convener, Sanjay Misri PEM, Narinder Singh PEM,Kewal Krishan PEM, Gurvinder Singh PET, Rajesh Kumar PEM, Ifthkar
Bhatti PET, Sachin Sharma REK, Manzoor Ahmed REK, Mohd Iqbal REK, Shabir Ahmed REK, Aman Sharma REK, Mukther
Ahmed PET, Imtiaz Ahmed, Mohd Iqbal, REK, Manzoor Rather, Javaid Iqbal REK and Pervaiz Ahmed Malik Afridi Venu
incharge and Media Coordinator zone Mandi Imtiaz Ahmed Lone REK performed well as Camera man during whole events.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were ZPEO Poonch Narinder Singh and others Zpeos PELs, PEMs, PETs, REK's,
ground staff and Vijay Kumar PEM presided over the function.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner presented cash prizes to the Winner and Runners up teams. Rs 50000 thousand was
awarded to the winning team, Rs.25000 to the first Runner up team and Rs 10000 to 2nd runner up.
