Jammu’s sculptor Ravinder Jamwal makes 6 Ft tall statue of PM

Tawi, Apr 23: Renowned sculptor from Jammu, Ravinder Jamwal has prepared a 6 feet long statue in honor of Prime Minister Modi.

Sculptor Ravindra Jamwal of Jammu's Birpur has prepared a statue in honor of Prime Minister Modi, who is arriving in neighbor-hood Palli village to participate in the ‘Panchayati Raj Diwas' and pushing whooping development in Jammu and tune to 40 thousand cores.

Jamwal, who has prepared the statue of the Prime Minister in record 15 days, wishes that the statue prepared by him should be installed near the meeting place.

As per media reports, Ravindra prepared the statue on fiberglass. Its cost has come to at least 80000 rupees. Artisans were also called from Pathankot to finalize the statue. Now Ravindra Jamwal wishes that the statue prepared by him should be installed near the meeting place.

For this, he also spoke to District Deputy Commissioner Samba Anuradha Gupta. According to Ravindra Jamwal, he has assured that he will try to get permission in this regard.

Ravindra said that he also spoke to Sanjeev Sharma, PRO of Union Minister Jitendra Singh but he refused citing security.

Ravindra said that his heart has become disheartened by this.

Meanwhile wife of Sculptor Ravindra Jamwal Veena Jamwal, who is also Sarpanch Birpur pushed off installing and gifting to PM.

“I request @narendramodi ji and @OfficeOfLGJandK, our honorable PM sir, to allow me to offer a 6 ft statue at Palli. Being Sarpanch, it's my tribute. It's like a dream come true to see our respected PM sir in our JKUT…  Ravinder Jamwal is completing it. This is how we can serve,” Veena Jamwal requested the administration by taking micro blogging site twitter.

“One day we will go. To welcome our pride of Nation, Honorable PM @narendramodi ji. It will be a historical moment for us, specially Samba District, and congratulations to @dcsambaoffice , under her guidance, this is going to happen.. #chalopalli, she maintained.

However, after a lot of tries and efforts the request got denied.

“Unfortunately, I could not get space at Palli,” the Sarpanch said.
