GHSS Jagti-4 lifts Cricket title as historic Migrants Sports Meet concludes

Scripting a convincing victory by 4 wickets over GHSS Camp Durga Nagar in a summit clash, Government Higher Secondary School Camp Jagti
(GHSS) Jagti-4 lifted the title in the first of its kind rather historic Meet among migrant institutions which concluded at Jagti Sports
Stadium, near here.
This sports extravaganza in the disciplines of Cricket, Chess, Ludo, Tug of War and Yoga was organised jointly by the Relief Commissioner Migrants
Office Jammu and the Department of Youth Services and Sports at various venues across Jammu.

In the title clash, put into bat, GHSS Camp Durga Nagar bundled out for paltry 55 runs in the stipulated 10 overs. Tushar top scored with 17 runs.
For GHSS Camp Jagti-4, Prem captured 3 wickets, while Rohit and Dheeraj bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply, GHSS Camp Jagti-4 chased the target easily by losing 6 wickets, thus won the match by 4 wickets. Vishal and Rahul contributed 12
and 11 runs respectively. For GHSS Camp Durga Nagar, Sajan and Piyush claimed 2 wickets each.
Earlier, in the first semifinal GHSS Camp Durga Nagar defeated GHSS Roopnagar and in another semifinal GHSS Jagti-4 trounced GHSS
Jagti-3 to seal berth in the finals.
Tehsildar Imran Naik, Nodal Officer of the event alongwith Zonal Physical Officer (ZPEO) Dansal distributed the prizes among the
winners and the runners-up teams.
The matches were supervised by the Conveners and Co-Conveners of the event including Sanjay Kumar Raina, Vinod Bhat, Ajay Raina and Rubee
Pandita (all Physical Education Lecturers), while the officiating panel, apart from Conveners and Co-Conveners included Ram Krishan Bhat (Sr), Ram
Krishan (Jr), Jyoti Pandita, Abhilove Choudhary, Shashi Koul, Rajni Kumari, Sunita Pandita, Vijay Pandita, Ramesh Bawnoo, Ramesh Kumar Bhat,
Pawni, Soni, Manoj Ji, Sangeeta, Sunita Pandita, Lokesh, Sweety Marhata, Ramesh Pandita, Sushil Ji, Avtar Ji, Anil Sharma and Amit Kalsi.
