Former J&K Ranji player dies of cardiac arrest

Tawi, April 17 (UNI): Former Ranji Trophy player from Jammu, Pranav Mahajan, has died of cardiac arrest here on Sunday, said an official.
Jammu and Administrator, Brig Anil Gupta tweeted, “JKCA is shocked to learn of the sad and sudden demise of Pranav Mahajan, ex Ranji player. Our heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family.”
However, it is learned that the cricketer had died of sudden cardiac failure.
Meanwhile pall of gloom has gripped the cricket fraternity and condolences are being poured from across the Union Territory.
