Javid Ahmed Shahmiri, the former Managing Director of the J&K Power Development Corporation (JKPDC), died on August 16 in Virginia, according to family sources.
Javid was the elder bother of Iqbal Ahmed Shahmiri, former Chief Engineer Public Health Engineering.
As per the family, there will be no gathering at their residence in compliance with Covid- 19 protocol.
