COVID: J&K records 1.36% fatality rate

Jammu Tawi, Jun 18: The Jammu and Kashmir has around 1.36 fatality rate in aggregate form of Covid-19 cases.

As per the data available with us, the fatality rate of Jammu division is 1.74 percent while as the fatality rate of Kashmir division is 1.12 percent.

In Jammu division, Jammu district has 2.14 percent fatality rate, Udhampur 1.18 percent, Rajouri  1.98 percent, Doda 1.56 percent, Kathua 1.63 percent, Samba 1.68 percent, Kishtwar  0.93 percent, Poonch 1.45 percent, Ramban 1.06 percent and Reasi 0.75 percent.

In Jammu division, Jammu district has the highest fatality rate while Reasi has the lowest fatality rate.

In whole Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu district has the highest fatality percentage as Jammu is the only district which has reported over 1000 deaths due to Covid-19 while Reasi has the lowest percentage and has reported below 50 deaths.

Similarly, data also reveals that the fatality rate of is Srinagar 1.18 percent, Baramulla has 1.19 percent, Budgam 0.9 percent, Pulwama 1.26, Kupwara 1.16 percent, Anantnag 1.24 percent, Bandipora 1.08 percent, Ganderbal 0.8 percent, Kulgam 1.01 percent and Shopian 1.05 percent.

District Pulwama has the highest fatality rate while as district Ganderbal has the lowest fatality rate in Kashmir division.
