Covid declining in J&K, but no room for complacency: LG

Tawi, Feb 04: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Friday reviewed the Covid-19 situation in Jammu and , saying that the cases are declining but there is no room for complacency.

“Today reviewed the Covid-19 situation in J&K UT. The number of new positive cases has declined but there is no room for complacency. We must continue awareness campaigns across the UT with active support of representatives of PRIs,” Office of J&K LG tweeted.

& Immunization Department to focus on booster doses to senior citizens, frontline workers and vaccination among 15-18 age-group. Continued adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour is paramount.”

“Health Department to ensure 100% coverage of Sehat Golden Card. J&K is a Front Runner in SDG's ‘Good Health and Well-Being' goal. Our aim is to provide best treatment to people from village to the city. We will continue to strengthen critical healthcare network.”
