Contract Panel constituted for construction of new High Court at Srinagar

Srinagar 19 January: J&K administration on Wednesday ordered for the constitution of a contract committee headed by Administrative Secretary Law Department for sanctioning/awarding contracts for execution of the project “Construction of New High Court at Raki-i-Gund Aksha Bemina Srinagar.” 

The contract committee would have Administrative Secretary Law

Department Chairman Achal Sethi as its chairman. The other eight members of the committee include Representative from the Finance Department (Not below the rank of Special Secretary/ Additional Secretary); Sami Arif Yesvi, Development Commissioner, PW (R&B) Department; Rafiq Ahmad Rafiq, Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) Department, ; Mohd. Hanief Lone, Chief Engineer of Inspections, Quality Control and Design; Chief Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Department (MED); Ashok Kumar Singh, Director Finance, Law Department;  Representative from the Industries & Commerce Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) and Mohd. Afz
