Committee setup for reduction in regulatory compliance burden in JK

Srinagar, Aug 25: Public Works department has constituted a committee for reducing regulatory compliance burden and to repeal redundant laws/acts of the prevention of ribbon development act 2007.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Committee to come up with the suggestions for reducing Regulatory Compliance burden and to repeal redundant Laws/Acts of the “Prevention of Ribbon Development Act, 2007″ to look at criminal offences to reduce,” reads the order issued by Shailendra Kumar Principal Secretary to the Government, Public Works department.

As per order the committee comprises of Development Commissioner (Works) PW(R&B) Department, Additional Secretary to the Government, PW (R&B) Department, Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) , Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) and Senior Law Officer, PW(R&B) Department.
