Arun Trust honours AIFF member Malhotra

, Oct 01: Arun Sharma and Social Welfare Trust today honoured football player from Jammu, Arun
Malhotra on becoming member Technical Committee of the All Football Federation (AIFF) in a function held at Handball
Training Facility of S D Sabha School, here.
One of the top veteran cricketer of Jammu and Kashmir, who has number of records to his credit as a first class cricketer, Ashwani
Gupta was the chief guest. On behalf of the Trust, Ashwani felicitated Arun Malhotra.
Earlier, member trustee of the Arun Sharma Sports and Social Welfare Trust, Ashutosh Sharma and other senior players
complimented Arun on becoming first footballer from J&K to become member of the top committee of the AIFF.
Everyone present on the occasion conveyed their happiness to Arun for bringing laurels to the UT.
Former Ranji cricketer and international Handball player, Akshay Khajuria told the gathering that Arun was one of the few
footballers from J&K, who have earned a name at the international level. “Now, Arun has become part of the AIFF Technical
Committee, which is something historic for entire sports fraternity of J&K, especially those associated with the game of football,”
said Akshay, who is DySP with J&K Police.
Among those prominent present were Kartar Dogra, Chandan Singh, Bachan Dogra (Handball coach), Rakesh
Dogra, Surinder Dogra, Vikas Nanda, Gourav Sharma, Rohit Vadan and Anil Dogra.
