All J&K attendees asked to carry negative RT-PCR reports

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold an all-party meeting on and  on June 24 in New Delhi. The Centre has extended the invite to 14 J&K leaders, including Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, to attend the meet at the prime minister's residence, as per sources.

All 14 political leaders from J&K who have been invited to the all-party meeting have been asked to carry a negative RT-PCR report.

Certain leaders from J&K said they have no qualms about getting the RT-PCR report since the meeting would be held in close quarters with the prime minister.

A top official in North Block said, “Since this is a physical and not a virtual meet, this is required by PMO.”
