Jammu Tawi, Jan 18: The Government today informed that 4651 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 1546 from Jammu division and 3105 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 366851. Also, 03 Covid deaths have been reported; 02 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 899 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 549 from Jammu Division and 350 from Kashmir Division.
On anti-Covid vaccination, the bulletin informs that 51,060 doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,99,77,343.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 366851 positive cases, 21677are Active Positive (8180in Jammu Division and 13497in Kashmir Division), 340599 have recovered and 4575 have died; 2228 in Jammu division and 2347in Kashmir division.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Jammu reported 919 cases, Reasi reported 78 cases for today, Udhampur reported 184 cases, Rajouri reported 74 cases, Doda reported 49 cases, Kathua reported 94 cases, Samba reported 109 cases, Poonch reported 18 case, Kishtwar reported 06 cases while as Ramban reported 15 fresh cases for today.
Similarly, Srinagar reported 957 cases, Baramulla reported 633 cases, Budgam reported 411 cases, Pulwama reported 96 cases, Kupwara reported 209 cases, Anantnag reported 253 cases, Bandipora reported 139 cases, Ganderbal reported 172 cases, Kulgam reported 215 cases while as Shopian reported 21 fresh cases for today.
As per officials figures, Jammu Division, 60,199 including 54,163 recoveries and 1,174 deaths are from Jammu district, 12,474 including 11,503 recoveries and 142 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,791 including 11,213 recoveries and 240 deaths are from Rajouri, 8,302 including 7,957 recoveries and 138 deaths are from Doda, 10,131 including 9,436 recoveries and 156 deaths are from Kathua, 7,711 including 7,117 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 5,010 including 4,843 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 7,000 including 6,611 recoveries and 102 deaths are from Poonch, 6,230 including 6,081 recoveries and 68 deaths are from Ramban and 7,914 including 7,430 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Reasi.
83,970 positive cases including 887 deaths and 78,377 recoveries are from Srinagar, 29,260 including 292 deaths and 25,861 recoveries are from Baramulla, 26,733 including 24,689 recoveries and 222 deaths are from Budgam, 16,190 including 15,620 recoveries and 195 deaths are from Pulwama, 15,908 including 170 deaths and 14,972 recoveries are from Kupwara, 17,857 including 16,563 recoveries and 211 deaths are from Anantnag, 10,900 cases including 10,125 and 111 deaths are from Bandipora, 11,346 including 10,977 recoveries and 82 deaths are from Ganderbal, 12,247 including 11,500 recoveries and 118 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,678 including 5,561 recoveries and 59 deaths are from Shopian
