KULGAM, AUGUST 12: The District Level Selection Committee (DLSC) of Sheep Husbandry Department met today here at mini-secretariat Kulgam and sanctioned 15 cases under Integrated Sheep Development Scheme (ISDS).
The selection of beneficiaries was made under different schemes, like ISDS, ISDS participatory mode during which 2 units of 25 ewes were Sanctioned under retrieved livestock mode of RKVY component and 1 unit of 10 ewes was sanctioned under Backyard scheme.
Moreover 2 self help groups working with NRLM also got selected for 125 and 175 ewes units as well with a subsidy component of Rs 05 and 07lac respectively.
Meanwhile, the Chief Sheep Husbandry Officer informed that the subsidy component of these selection units costs 18 lacs besides free of cost livestock with a cost of 16 lacs will be provided to beneficiaries on retrieval mode under ISDS.
