10 teachers suspended for absence in Kupwara

Srinagar, May 19: The Chief Officer (CEO) of frontier district Kupwara on Thursday suspended ten teachers for not reporting at their actual place of postings.

It was learned that the CEO in an order has said, “As reported by Zonal Education Officer Kralpora, ten teaching officials have failed to report their actual place of postings till date despite various reminders time and again given to them by the Zonal Education Officer concerned.”

“Now in view of the non-compliance of orders, non-seriousness and sheer negligence shown by them towards their legitimate duties and as recommended by Zonal Education Officer concerned, the teaching officials are placed under suspension with immediate elect and are attached to their actual place of postings,” it reads.
