10 animals charred in Rajouri fire

Rajouri, Jan 15: At least ten animals were charred to death in a fire incident that broke out in Ujhan village of Rajouri’s Darhal Tehsil.

Locals informed that the fire broke out in the intervening night of Friday-Saturday and flames engulfed the cattle shed of a local man identified as Mohammad Rayaz, son of Bashir Hussain of Ujhan, which cuased extensive damage to the structure.

In the incident, six goats and four other animals including buffaloes were charred to death, leaving the family devastated.

Local also demanded immediate financial aid to the victim family.
