First day of the free Yoga camp was organized by Central University Jammu, sponsored by Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, New Delhi was held at G.D.C Samba today. Prof. D. L. Choudhary, Director Yoga Center, Central University Jammu, Dr. S.K. Jain, Renu Thapper and Pratima Bhat were the experts of this free yoga camp. Dr. Ranvijay Singh organizes and welcomed the team members of this camp. The Principal, Dr. G.S. Rakwal highlighted the importance of Yoga in day to day life and encouraged all the students and staff to actively participate and spread the message of benefits of Yoga in the society. The expert Dr. S.K. Jain briefly explained the theoretical concept of Yoga and Renu Thapper guided the students and the staff to perform various Asana's of Yoga. All the faculty members of G.D.C Samba were present in the occasion and Dr. Manohar Lal, the Staff Secretary of G.D.C Samba presented the formal vote of thanks.
