Clerical Cadre extends Kaam Choro Hartal upto Apr 28

On 3rd consecutive day of three days Kam Choro/Pen down Hartal, the Clerical Cadre across the State had observed complete Kam Choro Hartal on the call given by coordination committee Jammu & All Departments Clerical Staff Association. While speaking in the programme organized in support of removal of Pay Anomalies of clerical cadre, Babu Hussain Malik, Ravi Singh Bhau, Nazir Bhat, Bharat Bushan, Anil Mehta, Sukhbir Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Ashok Singh, Yash Paul Sharma, Bharat Bushan Kotwal, Meenakshi Shama, Ravi Kumar, Mohd Saleem, Munish Kumar Mohd Latief, Onkar Verma had alleged that despite assurances, the Government has back tracked and not honored its commitment even the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir in SWP No. 3058/2015 keeping in view the association has rejected the announcement of 7th Pay Commission by the finance Department.
They added that the clerical cadre is the backbone of the state administration and are working from dawn to dusk with full integrity and dedication and are performing multiple task and are under mental and physical stress as well as to remain at the disposal of the officers not only office hours, but beyond working hours. Unfortunately, our contribution is always ignored and genuine issues of clerical cadre have always been sidelined and clerical cadre has been treated as bonded labourers and given step motherly treatment. They alleged that Government was trying to gag the voice of clerical cadre employees who were projecting their long pending demand in a democratic manner since 2008. They also rejected the decision of government for farming another committee. While speaking on the
Occasion, the leaders warns the State Government to shun the path of confrontation and issue orders for removal of Pay Anomolies of 5th Pay Commission and once again appealed the State Govt. to issue orders for removal of pay anomalies ( 5th Pay Commission) while granting the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, Rs.4500-7000 to Senior Assistant, and Rs 5500-9000 to Head Assistant. Notionally w.e.f. 01-01-1996 and monetary w.e.f 19-02-2003 as has already granting in favour of other cadres. They further added that the Pay Anomaly Committee had submitted its report regarding the pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre, Home Department and Revenue Department but, ignored the Clerical Cadre. Even the State Government failed to implement the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of J&K SWP No. 3058/2015 regarding removal of pay anomaly till date.
The Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association appealed to the Clerical Cadre Employees to observe complete Kaam Choro Hartal upto 28th April 2018 and lodge protest in their Office complexes against the callous attitude of Government and to assemble on April 27 at 10.30 A.M Press Club, Jammu for Secretariat Ghereao Programme
