Srinagar, Aug 14, CNS: Police in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday said a case has been registered against people who uploaded and shared a “seditious” video on social networking websites.
“Some anti-nation elements have shared an anti-national and seditious video claiming to be shot in Murran Chowk Pulwama today on social networking sites,” said a spokesman.
“The claim is baseless and as such is refuted.”
He said a case has also been lodged against the people who uploaded and shared the video.
The video, apparently from last year, shows young kids parading during a function to mark the Independence Day of Pakistan. (CNS)
