India lead the five match series 1-0. India won the first T20 by 11 runs and the second T20 was abandoned due to rain. In the first T20, India had registered a convincing victory over South Africa bowling the visitors out for 119 while defending only 130. The second T20 was abandoned due to persistent rain, without even the toss taking place.
