2 Army men killed in cross border firing along LoC

Tawi: Two Army men were on Friday killed during the cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district.
The Army in a statement said that Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district.
According to a statement issued to the news agency— News Observer (KNO), spokesman from Jammu said that the troops responded immediately to the enemy fire.
“In the ensuing fire, two Army men including Naik Prem Bahadur Khatri and Rifleman Sukhbir Singh got critically injured and later succumbed to their injuries,” he said.
“Naik Prem Bahadur Khatri and Rifleman Sukhbir Singh were brave, highly motivated and sincere soldiers. The nation will always remain indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty, the statement said.
